Singer Miguel Antonio is youngest to perform at S'pore F1 Grand Prix

Singapore-based crooner, Miguel Antonio, 13, was discovered after a video of him went viral in 2010.

Then 10, the boy with the angelic voice sang the Les Miserables hit I Dreamed a Dream in a school competition here.

More than four years later, he is still making waves, working with big names like Black Eyed Peas' apl.de.ap and David Foster.

In September, eager fans can catch him at the Singapore F1 Grand Prix in September, where he will be the youngest performer to grace the Marina Bay street circuit.

Such huge performances have become routine for him.

Miguel has even sung at the renowned Greek Theatre in Los Angeles to help with Typhoon Haiyan's recovery efforts in the Philippines.

And to think that not too long ago, he was just singing in front of small crowds.

"Most of the time, I was asked to sing the Happy Birthday song," he said.

Now, he is slated to further excel, thanks to his recent signing with BMBX, a talent agency where apl.de.ap will play mentor.

Miguel said: "It is such a privilege for me. He has been in the music industry for many years and has proven himself a great artist. I will learn a lot from him."
