Taeyang bares abs in Eyes, Nose, Lips music video
Female Kpop fans, are you ready to get your senses blitzed with this latest brooding, sexy music video?
Big Bang's Taeyang released his latest music video Eyes, Nose, Lips on Monday (June 2), along with his new official album Rise.
The video for Eyes, Nose, Lips initially features a close-up of shirtless Taeyang, who sings emotionally on a dark set.
It then slowly zooms out, revealing a large billboard of a woman's face in the background.
Things turn a little dramatic afterwards but we wont spoil it for you.
The sound
Billboard described the sentimental ballad as one with an "Adult-R&B sound".
The track starts out with the South Korean boy band vocalist belting out the lyrics of first verse and chorus with just piano accompaniment as he doles out reflective regrets of the way he treated a past love, while recalling her features like her eyes, nose, fingernails and red lips.
The song later breaks into a more intricate sound when the hollow percussion, snappy snares and classical violins add to the melody.
Rise features nine tracks, and is Taeyang's second studio album after his first production, Solar, four years ago.
Even though Big Bang raked bigger numbers - especially with their 2008 Korean studio album, Remember, which sold over 266,000 copies - Taeyang's first album did reasonably well, selling over 84,600 copies in Korea alone.
Let's see how this second production does, shall we?
