WATCH: Gurmit Singh acts as wax figurine and scares visitors at Madame Tussauds
Singapore's most popular television personality decided to play a prank on visitors at Madame Tussauds Singapore.
Gurmit Singh dressed as his most popular television character, Phua Chu Kang, and posed motionless on a sofa, tricking visitors into thinking that he was a wax figure. He did it so well that he managed to scare many unsuspecting guests.
Thankfully for us - it was all caught on camera.
One of the guests' mother said, “My mum said to me ‘That thing is moving’ and I didn’t believe her, then when I was sitting down to take a photo, he just completed shocked me!”
Said Singh: “I loved that we had different reactions from different people that came to Madame Tussauds. Some of them were outright frightened. I don’t know if they are going to have nightmares about me now!”
Madame Tussauds Singapore opened on Oct 25. The museum showcases some of Singapore’s most popular celebrities, as well as internationally known celebrities from around the world.
