WATCH: Jay Chou releases video of fairy-tale wedding
If you needed any more proof that Jay Chou's wedding to model-actress Hannah Quinlivan was a fairy-tale affair, look no further.
Chou has released a video of the elaborate, grand ceremony that shows the bride walking in a beautiful gown with a long wedding train.
The wedding took place on Saturday(Jan 17) - one day shy of Chou's birthday - at Selby Abbey, North Yorkshire.
The party was held in Castle Howard just 45km further north.
Quinlivan's father is seen walking his daughter down the aisle in the video and also shows the 36-year-old singer kissing his 21-year-old bride.
It's clear that the Mandopop superstar has a fondness for Britain.
He also proposed to his now-wife there last month.
They newlyweds are also said to be honeymooning there. But it's not all pleasure.
Chou will also be filming the thriller sequel Now You See Me: The Second Act, which also stars Daniel Radcliffe.
Meanwhile, it could also be possible that Chou might be something of a bridezilla - or at least a perfectionist.
His agent J.R. Yang said the wedding had to be postponed from 1.30pm to 3.30pm because rehearsals ran a little long.
Chou wrote a piece that was to be played with a string orchestra - and was heavily involved in the rehearsal.
Yang said: "Jay seemed a little nervous.
"He was very busy and very happy. Although the rehearsal was long, he was satisfied with the string orchestra's playing. The atmosphere of this wedding was really super romantic."
The two-minute video garnered half a million views in just a day.
According to Asian Pop News, Chou's wedding which is estimated to cost S$970,000 is reportedly the most expensive so far in the Taiwanese entertainment industry.
He also reportedly refused sponsors for his wedding and paid for his 50 guests' accommodation and travel expenses.
