What? Joanne Peh and Qi Yuwu are married!
Thanks to hair stylist David Gan, Singapore now knows that local actress Joanne Peh and her Chinese actor boyfriend of just over a year Qi Yuwu are officially married, Xinmsn confirmed.
Local magazine Her World Brides further confirmed the news after they uploaded a picture of the bride in her wedding gown onto their Instagram account.
The 31-year-old actress reportedly wore a gown by Singaporean fashion designer LaiChan.
The caption paired with the image uploaded late on Tuesday (Sept 9) evening said: "Congratulations are in order for Joanne Peh and Qi Yuwu, who tied the knot in front of the Merlion statue, at Sentosa today! The bride wore a gown by Singaporean fashion designer LaiChan..."
In Gan's Instagram post of the couple, Peh is seen with her husband sealing the deal in front of the Merlion statue in a quiet ceremony on Tuesday (Sept 9).
The two first announced their relationship not long after Peh and local DJ Bobbi Tonelli, who had a highly public relationship for four years, broke up.
Another photo that Gan posted just before the photo of the nuptials showed the back view of the 2012 Star Awards Best Actress' bridal veil and he wrote: "Another one of my daughters is now married".
Even Channel 8 confirmed the news with their congratulatory message on Twitter.
Peh gave little away in her latest tweet which was posted 21 hours ago.
Even her Instagram post, uploaded late Monday night (Sept 8), just wished everyone a "Happy Mid-Autumn Festival!"
