
1. All entries should be between 3 to 5 minutes long, and have to be shot in Singapore.
2. Participants need to be Singapore citizens or PRs.
3. Participants should be 35 years old or below before March 1, 2012.
4. Films submitted for the First Film Festival should not have been submitted for other competitions or festivals.
5. Films must have been completed after Dec 1, 2011.
6. Participants are required to make themselves available for interviews and publicity events, as directed by Singapore Press Holdings Ltd (the “Organiser”).
7. By submitting entries for the competition, each participant warrants and undertakes that they own or have all required rights to the entries and any material used in the entries, and shall indemnify the Organiser and/or the Government of the Republic of Singapore (the “Government”) for all damage suffered and cost incurred should the above warranty and undertaking not be true. *For submissions to the MICA Music Video category, participants must compose their own music, or use any of the following pieces:

By submitting entries for the competition, each participant agrees to grant a cost-free, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide and non-exclusive licence to the Organiser (and, for any submissions for the MICA Music Video category, to the Government) to reproduce, publish, publicly perform, communicate to the public, adapt, and use the contents of the submission, including any picture(s) and/or original musical score contained within the video(s) submitted for the competition, in any way whatsoever, whether in whole or in part, on any media platform.
*Note: If your entry does not meet some of the requirements above, please drop an email to the judges at tnpfirst@sph.com.sg to explain why. Approval of your submission will be at the judges' discretion.
Judges' decisions are final.
Deadline for submissions is 5pm on March 12, 2012.
