Ex-escort reveals truth behind sex with 10,000 men

It was a hedonistic lifestyle drowning in sex, drugs and alcohol.

The former escort slept with 10,091 men, went on drug-induced orgies and splurged her newfound riches on cars and clothes, an Australian prostitute has revealed in a new book.

"It was a lifestyle of cocaine, speed and French champagne," said the woman, who uses Gwyneth Montenegro as a pen name.

The Aussie revealed in 10,000 Men and Counting that it was not a path that she would take again, reported Daily Mail.

The Melbourne native, 36, was born to devout Christian parents and wanted to save herself until the right man came along.

But she said she was gang-raped when she was 18.

A lingerie modeling shoot Ms Montenegro did at age 25 from her Facebook fan page.

She started table-top dancing at 19, which gave her confidence a boost and got her quick cash  .

"I got pretty drunk and I made $1,000 cash on the first night (bar-top dancing)," Ms Montenegro said.

"It actually gave me the confidence I never had," she added, explaining that she was bullied and had low self-esteem in high school.

The recognition and cash led into her becoming an elite escort at 21, earning $500 to $1,000 an hour, working all over Australia.

She lied to her family that she was modelling to save them the shocking truth. But even though they didn't like it, her parents were understanding and supportive when they discovered the truth, said Daily Mail.

She gave up the job when she was 33 after meeting her business partner and even got a pilot's licence but says she gave it up when she suffered kidney failure.

The former bar-top dancer said she was bullied in high school and had low self-esteem.

She had pretty down-to-earth advice on her Facebook fan page.

"Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things," she wrote.
