Former O.C actress Rachel Bilson is pregnant!

After appearing on successful US TV series like The O.C and Hart of Dixie, it seems like Rachel Bilson will be gearing up for her biggest role to date:

Motherhood. 

Bilson and Canadian-American actor Hayden Christensen, 33, who began dating in 2007 after they met on the set of Jumper, are expecting their first child, E! News has confirmed. They got engaged in December 2008 but called it all off in August 2010, only to reconcile three months later.​

The latest news comes as no surprise to those who know Bilson, who has been talking about having children for a while.

In the US edition of Health's June issue profile, the 32-year-old actress said: "To start a family would be good, any year in the next few years. I've always wanted to be a mom. I have always wanted kids. I can just see this little toddler waddling around the house."

When the former O.C. star made the cover of Cosmopolitan in May last year, she made similar comments, saying:  "I definitely have family on the brain. Having kids is something I want to see in my future — I hope."​

This calls for a huge congrats to Rach and Hayden for finally making it happen!
