Frustrated dad makes video on how to change toilet roll for his kids
Parents, you know how it is. You ask your teenage kids to do something simple around the house, and they ignore you.
So British dad Will Reid decided he would "use social media" to get the message across to them, "since obviously me telling them face to face is not working".
The first in his serious of instructional videos? Teaching them how to change the toilet roll when it's empty.
(We know a few adults who need to watch this video, too.)
Step 1: Remove empty toilet roll holder.
Step 2: Replace with fresh toilet roll.
"The advanced level would be actually to take the empty toilet roll holder and put it in the bin," he says after.
But ever the realist, he sarcastically adds: "I feel that might be a step too far at the moment."
No word as to whether his kids have learnt this one lesson, but Reid can take comfort in the fact that he's not somewhat of a YouTube star.
After the video went viral, he updated the video description with the following statement: "My kids said this wouldn't go World Wide as no one would be interested! I guess there are other parents out there that feel the same as I do."
