From now till Sept 18, Shang Palace (Shangri-La Hotel Singapore, Tel: 6213-4398) presents a menu incorporating tea.
And from this comes the double-boiled bird's nest soup with Bi Luo Chun green tea ($78 a portion or $108 as part of a seven-course set menu).
The subtle sweetness of the tea and the luxurious texture of bird's nest make this a must-try, albeit a pricey one.
But one must indulge occasionally, right?
The other standout is more affordable: Lobster porridge with roasted brown rice tea ($24 a person).
