Meet Hello Kitty's lazy new sidekick Gudetama, the lazy egg
Hello Kitty has found a new sidekick in Gudetama, the lazy egg.
Unlike other Sanrio characters who are bright and cheery, Gudetama is extremely lazy and does not seem to do anything.
In fact, the description on his Twitter profile says in Japanese: "I really don't feel like tweeting every day. It's such a bother. But I'll do it because my bosses tell me to. But I know I'm only going to be eaten in the end."
Yet, he has his fans. His Twitter account, barely two months old, has almost 38,000 followers.
Gudetama is often pictured lazing on fried rice, whining about being too lazy to do anything.
And it clearly shows.
Gudetama is clearly a fan of sleeping.
He likes to sleep... in many positions.
