Fresh prince of Kuala Lumpur? Will Smith spotted in KL

He may have missed out on an Oscar nomination for Concussion but Will Smith showed no signs of disappointment as he was spotted in Kuala Lumpur yesterday (Jan 18).

He was seen by fans at KL mall Mid Valley Megamall. And he stayed true to his Mr Nice reputation - smiling and happily shaking hands with fans.

Smith was with his business partner James Lassiter, and Mark Britt, the group CEO of iflix, dubbed by some as the Netflix of Asia.

The purpose of the visit is still not known.

Smith was not the only celeb in town.

In what could be the greatest of coincidences, also hitting KL was Smith's former partner-in-crime from the popular 90s series The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, Jeffrey Allen Townes — better known as DJ Jazzy Jeff.

Townes was in KL for a performance, which was part of his Vinyl Destination tour.

Aside from appearing in the hit comedy together Smith and Townes had a number of worldwide hit singles as DJ Jazzy Jeff and The Fresh Prince.

Sadly did not join Townes as part of an impromptu reunion.

But fans will just have to settle for a photo instead.
