WATCH: Base jumper survives horrific fall from cliff

Thrill-seeker and base jumper Thayer Healy almost died after he had jumped off a cliff in Moab, Utah last year.

He had pulled his chute but was slammed face-first into the cliff. The situation spiralled out of control and he found himself falling straight down without any protection. The incident was captured on his GoPro camera and was only uploaded last week.

Miraculously he survived the incident and spent only a day in the hospital.
