CHARLIE Brown and Lucy.

I’m Not Afraid Of Demons If I’ve Seen Hell.

Death Of An Insurance Salesman.

Who Has Eaten My Brain.

These are just some of the idiosyncratic song titles from Taiwanese pop rockers Tizzy Bac’s extensive catalogue.

The fiercely independent trio, who have earned a loyal following in Asia with their quirky, unpredictable lyrics and jangly, edgy melodies, will be in town at the end of the month for a one-night gig at Switch music bar.

Speaking to LOUD over the phone from Taipei, lead vocalist and keyboardist Chen Hui-ting, 35, bassist Hsu Che-yu, 33, and drummer Lin Chien-yuan, 32, shared their penchant for the odd and bizarre with LOUD.

More in LOUD in The New Paper on Tuesday (May 1).

Who do you want to see on the cover of LOUD?
