SCOTTISH-Irish rockers Snow Patrol were plagued with the writer’s block while working on their sixth and latest album.

Over the phone last week with LOUD, the band’s guitarist Nathan Connolly admitted that their frontman and lead songwriter Gary Lightbody had had some problems getting started on material for their latest album, Fallen Empires, which was released last November.

The group behind hits like Run and Chasing Cars will be bringing their Fallen Empires Tour to town on Aug 6 at Fort Canning Park.

It will be the first time that the band – which also includes bassist Paul Wilson, drummer Jonny Quinn and keyboardist Tom Simpson – is visiting Singapore.

The band is both excited and nervous to play in Singapore for the first time.
