LOUD Cover Contest: Strumming to success

MUSIC runs in his family, so it was natural for Mr Eusebius Chin to enter our LOUD Cover Contest.

Mr Chin, 19, who plays the bass, is a member of his father Bernard’s band, The Sleepwalkers.

The father, a guitarist, and son share singing duties. His mother, Catherine, plays the piano and sings in her church choir.

For the contest this month, the featured artiste is American singer Jason Mraz and participants have to perform his music.

The third-year Ngee Ann Polytechnic student told LOUD he took 11 hours and over 50 takes to get his version of Mraz's I Won't Give Up right.
