LOUD Cover Contest: Tips to top the pops

SO YOU secretly like dancing to Katy Perry’s Teenage Dream in your bedroom.

Or you’re always trying out your rapping skills on Jay Chou’s Fearless (Huo Yuan Jia) at karaoke pubs.

Whatever the case, this month’s LOUD Cover Contest will give you the opportunity to shine, and win some great prizes while you’re at it.

For the month of July, we’re throwing the spotlight on two superstar headliners of the upcoming Formula 1 SingTel Singapore Grand Prix – American singer Katy Perry and Taiwanese singer-actor Jay Chou.

Up for grabs: Two pairs of Bay Grandstand tickets (each ticket is worth $298) for the month’s champion and runner-up, courtesy of Singapore GP.

The top three finalists will also stand to win prizes, including a Gibson hamper worth $550, Monster Diamond Tears headphones worth $699 and NErgy earphones worth $129 respectively.

The contest’s judges this month say budding entertainers who are keen to give the contest a shot should let their hair down and enjoy the process.
