IF you think K-pop is all about cutie-pie idols showing off their pearly whites, these fans are out to prove you wrong.

Meet the D5vils, five sassy local gals who want to turn up the heat with their titillating and spicy K-pop dance performances.

“Our focus is on sexy, energetic and powerful dance routines,” Miss Ngon Shi Hui, 18, a polytechnic student and the leader of the quintet, told LOUD.

Meanwhile, local aspiring musician Nasmer Fontanilla, 19, a third-year student at Temasek Polytechnic, has been trying to form Singapore’s first-ever K-pop rock band, but the search for members is turning out to be an an uphill task.

So he submitted a solo entry for our Cover Contest, an acoustic version of the slow rock ballad You Walking Towards Me, sung originally by Jung Jin Woon of boy band 2AM.
