THE sudden death of US heavy metal group Avenged Sevenfold’s beloved drummer was such a huge blow it almost crippled the band.
Famed for their wacky monikers, melodic tunes and crushing riffs on tracks such as Bat Country, Afterlife and Danger Line, the tattooed foursome were devastated in December 2009 after Jimmy “The Rev” Sullivan died.
“For a while, we weren’t sure whether we could even continue,” bassist Johnny Seward (Johnny Christ), 27, revealed sombrely to LOUD during an interview last Saturday before Avenged Sevenfold’s sold-out performance at Hard Rock Hotel’s The Coliseum.
