The stars come out at Met Gala
Those starved of a good old fashion red carpet were fed by the brightest and the shiniest at this year's Met Gala.
This year's theme was "Manus x Machina: Fashion In An Age Of Technology", so most came to theme with shiny and futuristic outfits.
So who wore what well?

All hail the queen. Lady Gaga was best dressed of the night.

She was bold, sexy, and pantless in her Atelier Versace outfit - all the hallmarks of a great red carpet moment.
Kim Kardashian turned up in Balmain. Imagine how blinding it would be should a spotlight be focused on her derriere.
Not to be outshone, singer Rita Ora was a silver bird in this Vera Wang gown. I wonder if it itches.

Beyonce looked like she's the one with the good hair, dressed in a regal shimmery Givenchy gown.

Her sister Solange Knowles is probably showing her support - again - by turning up looking like lemonade in an outfit from David Laport.

Maybe these thought they were headed to Coachella instead of the Met Gala?

Nicki Minaj is more flesh than fabric but at least she's buckled up in this Moschino dress.

She may have left her eyebrows at home but Katy Perry (wearing Prada) gave towering hair.
Madonna looked like she was auditioning for a part of a porn version of Games of Thrones in this Givenchy ensemble. I don't think she'll get a call back.

It doesn't have to be a high end brand for Nick Jonas to work the red carpet, He's just as effective in a Topman suit.

Maybe Zayn Malik wants to be next in line to play the Winter Soldier. Even girlfriend Gigi Hadid cannot steal the attention away from the robotic sleeve on his Versace jacket.

Did Michelle Williams even made an effort?
Or was she on her way to the supermarket before she remembered she had a gala to attend and just rushed over?
