Rowling to write sequel to Fantastic Beasts

Author J. K. Rowling may have called it quits when it comes to books about Harry Potter, but she is not done telling stories about the wizarding world.

On Wednesday, Warner Bros announced a sequel to Harry Potter spin-off film Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them, which will be released in November.

The sequel will also be written by Rowling and directed by David Yates, who helmed the last four Harry Potter movies.

Warner Bros said the sequel will tentatively be released in November 2018.

Fantastic Beasts tells the story of Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne), a wizard who researches magical creatures.

It is set 70 years before Harry Potter's time.

Sesame Street vets may return

Fans of Sesame Street may see the return of Bob, Gordon and Luis.

Last week, it was reported that Bob McGrath, 84, who has played Bob in the series since 1969, revealed that he, along with long-time cast members Roscoe Orman (Gordon), 72, and 76-year-old Emilio Delgado (Luis), had been "graciously let go" from the award-winning children's show.

But in a statement released on Tuesday, Sesame Workshop chief executive officer Jeffrey Dunn apologised to fans for the "misunderstandings".

He said he would be meeting the three actors to discuss how they can fit into the show's new format, "in a way that honours their historic contributions".

In 2014, Sesame Street went from being an hour-long show to a half-hour one, which meant cast members would have fewer appearances, he said.

Mr Dunn added: "In our latest season, the storylines written did not include appearances by these three actors and we certainly could have done a better job of communicating with them about our ongoing episode plans."

Osbourne in therapy for sex addiction

Black Sabbath singer Ozzy Osbourne revealed on Wednesday that he has been undergoing therapy for sex addiction, reported AFP.

The English rocker went public after hair colourist Michelle Pugh revealed she was one of his mistresses.

"Over the last six years, I have been dealing with a sex addiction," Osbourne, 67, wrote on Facebook.

"...Since the press exposed this I have gone into intense therapy. I am mortified at what my behaviour has done to my family.

"I thank God that my incredible wife is at my side to support me."

He has been married to manager Sharon Osbourne for 34 years. They were on the brink of divorce, but are now working on their marriage.

Ms Pugh told People magazine that Osbourne pursued her for a year in late 2011 and claimed they had a "very real relationship".

But he distanced himself from her and wrote: "I'm sorry if Ms Pugh took our sexual relationship out of context. I'd also like to apologise to the other women I have been having sexual relationships with."

Last month, the pop princess released the first single from the album, "Make me...", a mid-tempo ballad featuring rapper G-Eazy.

In her latest tweet, she called the new album "the beginning of a new era" and said it would be available for pre-order online.

Those who pre-order will get to instantly stream Private Show, a track that was teased by Spears in a video released online in June.

"I'm really looking forward to spending time with the Hollywood Foreign Press (the event's organisers) before Donald Trump has them all deported."
