Daniel Radcliffe channels inner Eminem in The Real Slim Shady performance
The real Slim Shady has stood up — and his name is Daniel Radcliffe.
Patrons at an Irish pub in San Francisco got front row seats to see the Harry Potter star perform a flawless karaoke rendition of rapper Eminem's The Real Slim Shady.
Radcliffe drew cheers — and screams from female fans — as he opened with the famous lyrics: "Will the real Slim Shady please stand up?"
When the 25-year-old entered the first verse, his girlfriend Erin Darke broke into an odd and rather awkward dance.
Taylor Swift would be proud.
Without making a single mistake, Radcliffe conquered all three verses of the king of rap's song with Darke lending her vocals to the iconic chorus.
Radcliffe told US talk show host Jimmy Fallon back in October last year that his obsession with rap music began when he was still in school.
"I was the first kid in my class to learn all the lyrics to The Real Slim Shady," he said.
"I've always had an obsession with memorising complicated, lyrically intricate and fast songs. It's a disease."
That conversation was capped with Radcliffe famously nailing one of the most intricate and difficult raps on The Tonight Show.
The former portrayer of a boy wizard performed Blackalicious' Alphabet Aerobics.
