Fisher: I had 'intense' affair with Ford

Carrie Fisher dropped a bombshell yesterday when she made public her "intense" affair with Harrison Ford.

She was 19 then while he was 33 - and a married father of two.

Fisher, 60, opened up about her three-month affair while filming Star Wars in 1976. Details of their tryst are revealed in Fisher's memoir, The Princess Diarist, which will be released next Tuesday.

"It was so intense," Fisher told People magazine. "It was Han and Leia during the week, and Carrie and Harrison during the weekend."

Fisher told the magazine that Ford, 74, had received a draft of the book, which also detailed her insecurities.

"I looked over at Harrison... How could you ask such a shining specimen of a man to be satisfied with the likes of me?"

Beauty And The Beast set to be box office hit

Emma Watson's Beauty And The Beast won't be out until next year, but it already looks like it's going to be a hit.

The first official trailer has booted Fifty Shades Darker for the most views in a 24-hour period, the studio announced on Tuesday.

Fifty Shades Darker garnered 114 million views after its trailer was released earlier this year, but now, Disney fans around the world have helped the live-action remake of the 1991 Disney animation hit an impressive 127.6 million views in just one calendar day.

The Rock is People’s sexiest man alive

Before he attempts to become the US president in 2020, Dwayne Johnson can be contented with a new title - Sexiest Man Alive.

The half-Samoan, half-black actor is the first non-white male to receive the title from People magazine in 20 years.

Denzel Washington earned the title in 1996.

"This just means I'm still up at 4am training hard, taking care of my babies, driving my pick-up truck and telling a few dirty/nerdy jokes... extremely sexily of course," Johnson, 44, wrote about his win on his Instagram.

Added the Moana star: "Remember, sexy isn't something you 'try and be'. Sexy happens naturally when you're comfortable just being yourself."

Hollywood history for Capitol Records

Capitol Records made history on Tuesday afternoon when it became the first record label to be awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

US singer Katy Perry, 32, was on hand to help her music label receive the award, which celebrates the company's 75 years of recorded music from 1942 to 2017.

Perry was all smiles at the ceremony, a stark contrast to the post-US election emotions she displayed when she tweeted: "Gonna cry my false eye lashes off tonight."
