Cotillard denies affair with Pitt
French actress Marion Cotillard, 40, has broken her silence on her alleged involvement in the Brad Pitt-Angelina Jolie divorce.
In a lengthy statement on Instagram yesterday, she denied having an affair with US actor Pitt, whom she co-stars with in upcoming war romance Allied.
In the post, she also took the opportunity to announce that she is pregnant with her second child with French actor-director Guillaume Canet.
Cotillard said: "This is going to be my first and only reaction to the whirlwind news that broke 24 hours ago and that I was swept up into...
"Firstly, many years ago, I met the man of my life, father of our son and of the baby we are expecting. He is my love, my best friend, the only one that I need..."I do very much wish that Angelina and Brad, both whom I deeply respect, will find peace in this very tumultuous moment."
Meanwhile, it appears that even the likenesses of Jolie, 41, and Pitt, 52, are splitting up.
Their wax statues have stood together at the renowned Madame Tussauds in Londonsince they were unveiled in 2013 - until now.
Following news of their break-up on Tuesday, the wax museum has separated the figures.
A Madame Tussauds spokesman said: "Angelina is keeping Nicole Kidman company and Brad Pitt is with his (frequent) co-star Morgan Freeman."
