Movie Review: Bad Santa 2 (R21)
This is not the Santa Claus that you would want near your kids or your valuables.
The stealing tactics are interesting and fun to watch, but the crude and nasty jokes are not as hilarious as in the first movie. They are the kind where you let out a chuckle and then wonder why they are funny in the first place.
Set 10 years after Bad Santa, Billy Bob Thornton reprises the sleazy Willie Soke's role, and Tony Cox returns as Marcus Skidmore, Soke's sidekick.
They are joined by the gullible Thurman Merman (Brett Kelly) and Soke's mother, Sunny (Kathy Bates), whose strong performance brings some colour to the mediocre movie.
Bad Santa 2 is not that terrible and is saved by its emotional ending.
Just don't watch it if you are easily offended.
