COLDPLAY IN S'PORE ON APRIL FOOL'S DAY
It's para-para-paradise for local Coldplay fans, as the British band will be performing live in Singapore on April 1 next year.
Coldplay embarked on their A Head Full Of Dreams Tour in March this year, playing to 2.5 million people in Latin America, Europe and the United States.
It has been a while since the band played in Singapore. Their last concert was at the Indoor Stadium in 2009 to more than 10,000 people.
This time, they will be rocking the Singapore National Stadium after performing in Australia and New Zealand.
Tickets, priced from $78 to $298, are available from www.sportshubtix.sg, and will go on sale on Nov 21.
ENCHANTED STARS TALK SEQUEL
Amy Adams has told E! News that a sequel to 2007's Enchanted is in the works.
"I don't know when exactly it's starting, but we definitely have had conversations," said the 42-year-old actress at the premiere of her new film, Arrival.
Called Disenchanted, the storyline reportedly takes place 10 years after its predecessor, and will be directed by Adam Shankman.
James Marsden, who played the prince in Enchanted, told E! News in 2011 that he hoped to have a sequel before both of them turned 40.
"At some point when the gray hairs start coming, you can't really play the quintessential animated prince anymore. Amy and I were like, 'If we're going to do it, we do it before we're 40'."
Marsden is now 43, but we bet Shankman will perform some movie magic. Disney hopes to start filming Disenchanted next summer.
SITCOM ACTRESS SINGS CHAINSMOKERS
Modern Family star Sarah Hyland traded her acting skills for a microphone.
The 25-year-old actress and US rock band Boyce Avenue got together and did a cover of Closer by The Chainsmokers.
The song was uploaded onto YouTube last Sunday and has since garnered more than two million views.
Hyland trained her vocal cords in musicals such as Annie, Grey Gardens and Hair, so what this young starlet can do comes as no surprise.
She also told Entertainment Tonight that an album of her own might be in the works.
"My boyfriend (actor Dominic Sherwood) got me a guitar, because he's like, 'I love your music and you should be able to write and compose your own music'," she said.
She added: "I thought that was really sweet, but I don't know. Maybe if I start getting bored? I'm not ruling it out!"
