Chris Brown arrested
US singer Chris Brown has been arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, after a stand-off with the police at his Los Angeles home on Tuesday.
Beauty queen Bavlee Curran, 24, told The Los Angeles Times that Brown had threatened her with a gun on Monday night, while she was spending time with her friends there. She claimed she was admiring a piece of jewellery worn by Brown's friend when he swore at her and pointed a gun.
Brown, 27, was arrested in 2009 for attacking his then-girlfriend, Barbadian pop star Rihanna, and pleaded guilty to felony assault.
