Must-see MVs
These music videos are testaments why these veterans are still at the top of their game.
KYLIE MINOGUE
ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING AND ANYTHING AT ALL
While her recent videos Into The Blue and Sexercize were full-on sexed-up affairs, the Aussie pop goddess' new offering is a refreshing combo of camp and goofy wackiness.
Absolutely Anything And Anything At All, recorded for the soundtrack of British sci-fi flick Absolutely Anything, features her singing and grooving in space, stardust sprinkled all around, and slimy, bizarre-looking extraterrestrial creatures are her back-up musicians.
It's very weird, yet very cute.
BIGBANG (GD & T.O.P)
ZUTTER
K-pop kings BigBang have given us some pretty crazy visuals in their previous videos. Zutter, however, takes the cake when it comes to breaking the crazy barometer.
An edgy hip-hop number by the group's rappers G-Dragon and T.O.P, it features the duo as unapologetic hoodlums who land themselves in ridiculous situations.
One moment, they're tied up and beaten blue and black. The next, G-Dragon's creating a scene at the casino while T.O.P's waving a knife at a pig farm.
JANET JACKSON FEAT. J. COLE
NO SLEEEP
The US R&B diva's first music video in five years turned out exactly the way I had imagined it to be - moody, sensuous and relaxed.
Bathed in warm blue hues, it shows Jackson and rapper J. Cole walking around a gorgeous, dimly-lit loft late in the night, as the rain falls outside.
Style-wise, this doesn't deviate too far from her old stuff like Let's Wait Awhile and Any Time, Any Place. And you know, if it ain't broke...
