She also has no regrets rounding up a children's choir to sing - or scream and curse, rather - in this angst-filled rock tune about going to hell.

She told Revolver Magazine: "I don't think they understood what they were singing. Or they did and were totally cool kids."

A large part of the video for her latest ballad sees the glitter-covered US singer perched atop a rock, cradling her impressive bosom in her arms to cover her bits.

Who is she kidding? It barely did the trick.

Other times, the gown-clad Carey swims mermaid-like in the clear blue water in a Puerto Rican rainforest, and for some strange reason, with one hand on her boob.

Not to be outdone, Minaj released her new music video the same week her rival and fellow former American Idol judge Mariah Carey dropped hers.

The US rapper was slammed for using an image of a rifle-wielding Malcolm X for the unofficial artwork of this rap single, which was thought to "(dishonour) the life and contributions of one of the greatest leaders of the 20th century".

Minaj later apologised, saying: "It is in no way to undermine his efforts and legacy."

She also received backlash for the heavy usage of the derogatory N-word in the song, among other things.
