Step forward Agu Casmir, who slotted in a cool double as the LionsXII returned to winning ways by thumping a sorry Sarawak 3-0 at the Jalan Besar Stadium last night.
The 28-year-old may have lost that yard of pace he had when he first burst onto the local football scene as a precocious 18-year-old, but the Nigeria-born striker certainly knows where the goal is.
LionsXII coach V Sundramoorthy was also grateful for Casmir's timely scoring exploits, especially with 10-goal skipper Shahril possibly ruled out of the league season with a shoulder injury.
