The LionsXII bounced back from their defeat by PKNS last Saturday to thrash the same team 5-0 at the Jalan Besar Stadium last night.
Three set-piece goals in 10 minutes set the tone for the team's biggest win of the season, prompting coach V Sundramoorthy to proclaim his side's performance as the best so far.
There was also joy for striker Agu Casmir, who scored his first two goals of the season in the second half.
The victory keeps the LionsXII tops, five points ahead of Kelantan who have three games in hand.

Superb performance!!!......
Superb performance!!!......
This is the kind of game play that the LIONS should try play in all their matches.
YOU dictate the game not the opponents.....should repeat the same vengeance and hunger against Kelantan and shock their fans in their own home ground in 2 weeks time after good rest and with injured players coming back.
Yes AGU may have scored 2 goals but can he score in future games?......i don't think so because his second goal he was lucky, happens to be at the right place and at the right time. His first goal, no defender marking him and he was free....
Prove us wrong AGU.......because i know you are good, just like when you first joined the national team years back.
Overall, well done LIONS!
Next bring in on Kelantan and
Next bring in on Kelantan and do not fear them beat them like PKNS. Now is the time to plan how to beat Kelantan and Terengganu. If we can beat them andit mean we can win the MSL 2012 title. LIONSXII ROAR all the way until end of the season.
PKNS is "TIRED"!!!
PKNS is "TIRED"!!!
I wish to see more young
I wish to see more young players sitting on the bench to be given chance to start in the lineup for future games. We should not rely on experienced players too much for success. As pointed out by one FAM's official recently that under 23 players should be the norm for LionsXII as FAM has done for the "young tigers" in the "S" league.
Also I like the coach to immediately replace those experienced players who are not perforning during the games. Don't wait until we are one goal down.
