A day after Kelantan sealed their second consecutive Malaysian Super League (MSL) title and consigned his team to the runners-up spot, LionsXII coach V Sundramoorthy sounded his side’s intentions for the Cup tournament, which will take place after the fasting month of Ramadan.

Sundram said his boys have reason to be confident ahead of Singapore’s first tilt at the trophy in 17 years, following an MSL season where they played “above expectations”.
