IT’S NOW what it should have been all along.

The LionsXII have ditched their white home jersey, in favour of a red one for the team’s new Malaysian Super League campaign, which kicks off on Wednesday.

Last season, V Sundramoorthy’s men wore a white jersey with red shorts and socks for their home games at the Jalan Besar Stadium, and an all-blue kit in away ones.

After their opening MSL match last year -– a 2-1 defeat at home by a Kelantan side, ironically decked out in an all-red kit –- some fans called for a return to the traditional red kit. And their wish has been granted.
