Repentant Firdaus back in LionsXII fold

FRESH from having his indefinite suspension lifted, LionsXII midfielder Firdaus Kasman has been included in the 20-man squad which will head to Shah Alam today for their first FA Cup match, against third-tier UiTM FC.

The 24-year-old had been involved in a drunken night out on Feb 4 and was slapped with a $10,000 fine after being suspended for the past two weeks.

LionsXII coach V Sundramoorthy, who has taken it upon himself to guide the 24-year-old “to be a better player and a better individual”, told The New Paper: “Firdaus will travel with us."
