The equation is clear and the LionsXII know it – beat Felda United by at least two goals tonight and they will occupy second spot.

And that in itself is a feat, considering their average start in which they collected just eight points from the first six league games.

Yet two solid wins against title contenders Negeri Sembilan (3-1 at home) and Perak (2-1 away) have put the LionsXII within touching distance of the Malaysian Super League summit.
