IT IS supposed to be a reunion of two giants who have won 56 out of 87 Malaysia Cup finals.

Who can forget Selangor’s thrilling come-from-behind 4-2 victory in 1978?

Or Singapore’s Fandi Ahmad-inspired 2-1 victory in 1980?

Yet Selangor legends whom The New Paper spoke to could only wistfully express their disappointment at how their beloved team have failed to live up to expectations in recent years.
