Sundram: Title is ours to lose

May 8, 2012 - 12:10am

They may have lost their last league game against defending champions and title contenders Kelantan.

But the LionsXII are confident that the Malaysian Super League title is still theirs to lose.

The Red Warriors are now on 34 points - two adrift of the table-topping Singapore team - after their 3-0 home victory over V Sundramoorthy's men last Friday.

The LionsXII are aiming to bounce back from their biggest league defeat this season on Tuesday night against Felda United in Malacca, with vice-captain Hariss Harun (shoulder) out and centre-back Safuwan Baharudin (groin) doubtful.

Dear Sundram....

If Khairul Amri is going to be in the first eleven, i would love to see him play on the left wing together with shahril and shahdan in the centre. As the fans have seen Khairul Amri played on the left for many occasions and he perform well on that side.

Then again, you are the coach and you have the final decision. You know the players better than the fans and you are a tactician.....i just hope right wing is not going to be Yasir Hanapi...
