THE heels had them hooked.

As part of The New Paper New Face competition this year, the 20 finalists were sent to the New Look store at 313@Somerset mall to choose a pair of shoes that they would wear over the duration of the competition.

When they saw the multi-hued heels lined up in a row, the girls squealed and grabbed the pair that caught their eye.

Some sought the advice of fellow finalists on which pair to choose.
