Alice Bigger, 16

ALICE is from England but has lived in Singapore for the past 11 years.

"My dad's job moved us around. We moved to Hong Kong six weeks after I was born. "We lived there for about four and a half years before moving back to England for nine months. "After that, we came to Singapore," she said.

Alice, 16, comes from Bungay, a small town in Norwich. From what she can remember, life was simple and basic.

"Eventually I would like to go back since my relatives are there but while growing up, I would prefer a sunnier climate; sometimes the weather (in England) is depressing. "And I've pretty much lived in Asia my whole life," she added.

She's also an athlete; besides being on a touch rugby team, she dives as well.

During their annual trip to Phuket, which is a family tradition, she goes scuba diving.

"I love the beach and the sea. Once I went through a shipwreck and I saw some puffer fish, clownfish and even small blacktipped reef sharks.

"I love water and I love diving. It's such an interesting and different experience."
