That was during her secondary school days and it ended up with her crying in the toilet. "Because I transferred from Normal Academic (NA) to Express stream, so I wasn't really accepted. "I wanted to hang out with my friends from NA but my teacher actually stopped us from doing so."
But, if anything, this experience only made her more resilient.
"I learned to stop caring about what others think as long as you're happy with yourself. "It has also taught me how to accept criticisms positively."
The 17-year-old confessed that she had a hard time but her friend helped her through it. "She was there as a true friend when I really needed someone to lean on and confide in." "She's basically my angel," she said.
Charlotte also has some advice for the underdogs out there.
"There's no point crying over it. Bullying is about other people not being happy with you. "But if you're receiving a lot of criticisms, you should take a step back and see if people are just being unreasonable or do you really need to change," she continued.
"Try to find people who like you for who you are. It makes life better."
