"Life in Hawaii was very relaxed because the enviroment was laid-back. During my free time, I would head down to the beach," she says. She confesses that she has fond memories of sleepovers and playing with water.
"In the US, the houses are very big so stayovers were very fun. And I play with water a lot; in swimming pools and the beaches." She moved to our sunny shores after she turned 10.
Dacy, 17, has a peculiar interest in food.
"I like to go to the supermarket and look at food. I like the colours. "I write up a list of food that I have cravings for and try to go through them within a month." And apparently, moving to Singapore didn't cause a culture shock for her taste buds.
"(Back in Hawaii) I usually eat Chinese and Korean food. And Hawaii is Asian dominated, so they mostly serve Asian cuisine."
"I prefer the food in Singapore though. It has more variety."
