JAMIE is not your average girly girl.

She's extremely sporty and she has a group of guy friends that she hangs out with and learned "The Bro Code" from.

Said Jamie: "They started watching (TV series) How I Met Your Mother and adopted the practice. "And then they taught me the code."

The Bro Code is a series of rules created by the character Barney Stinson that dictates how a "bro" should behave.

The 19-year-old says they help each other understand the opposite gender.

"I try to help them understand a girl's point of view, and vice-versa, and it sparks off some interesting debates," she said.

And despite being such a close-knit group, she doesn't harbor any romantic feelings for any of them.

"I'm attached, and we're close friends, so the relationship is strictly platonic."
