MARISA wants to run her own interior design firm.

"I like being my own boss. And I like staging furniture and creating beautiful things," she explained.

Despite just being a student at the moment, the 19-year-old already has a dream house in mind and a dream design to go along with it. And she's certainly aiming high.

"I want to get a penthouse in the Newton area. It's going to have a very minimalistic design. I'm going with a white and turqoise blue colour scheme. "It will resemble a Greek house with arced walls. I even searched online for furniture that compliments the design!"

Her inspiration?

"I like to have a holiday home, hence it's very resort inspired. "And from what I've seen on TV, Greece is a very nice place."

She added: "To me, home is where we spend most of our time, so I want to learn how to make it look less boring."
