NICOLETTE YIP is a self-proclaimed hoarder. She's very attached to her books, magazines, stationery and clothes.

And she's the only one in the family who hoards.

Nicolette, 19, said: "I have magazines that are at least six years old and old computer games that I played when I was in primary school.

"I hoard stuff because every piece of item I keep has a memory attached to it. I can become emotionally attached to my stuff."

Her mother once tried to clear clothes that she wore when she was five but she refused to let her do so. "I insisted that my future daughter and niece can wear them," she laughed. And if she were forced to pick, what item would she keep?

She exclaimed: "That's so hard to choose!

"I would keep my clothes. I love my clothes and it makes the most practical sense.

"Besides, I can't be naked while reading my book," she added, cheekily.
