Meet this year's New Face finalists

Tittering nervously, the girls patted down their hair and inspected their flawless make-up for one last time.

It was just moments before the 20 women – the finalists of The New Paper New Face competition were officially revealed to the public.

“I just kept telling myself not to sneeze, trip or fall,” said Katie Kang, 23, who is studying psychology.

Katie and her 19 counterparts appeared at Orchard Central yesterday afternoon for Singapore Press Holdings’ Great Singapore Sale Grand Draw.

Of the 20, one will eventually be crowned winner of The New Paper New Face competition, which is in its 20th year.
