6 men arrested for trespassing Shaw Towers rooftop

Police have arrested six men aged between 17 and 21 for trespassing a public commercial building in town.
On Jan 30 at around 7.53pm, police received a call informing them of an incident where the rooftop of Shaw Towers on Beach Road was illegally accessed.
Through investigations, it was revealed that tampering marks were found on the secured door leading to the roof top.
All six men were subsequently arrested by police.
Investigations are ongoing.
The maximum penalty for criminal trespass is a jail term of up to three months, or a fine not exceeding S$1,500, or both.
