9-vehicle accident in Hougang
Six cars, two motorcycles and a bicycle were involved in an accident in a carpark yesterday morning.
A man driving a black Hyundai allegedly lost control of the car and caused a series of collisions at Block 682 Hougang Avenue 4.
The accident took place near a coffee shop packed with customers at around 11am.
A witness, who declined to be named, told Lianhe Wanbao that the driver, whose car caused the accident, was taking his wife to the market nearby to shop for groceries.
A man in his 40s, who was cycling past at the time, suffered injuries on his left leg and right knee. He declined to be taken to the hospital, the Chinese daily reported.
The police were alerted at 11.20am and are investigating.
