Action will be taken against men involved

We refer to Mr Allan Zheng's letter, "Doesn't it show lack of respect for law?" (The New Paper, Feb 17).

The police responded to a case of alleged fighting outside the State Courts on Feb 13 after receiving a call for assistance from security officers in court.

Our officers recorded the personal particulars of those involved and directed them to report to the Central Police Division for further interviews.

Police investigations into this incident are currently ongoing and appropriate action will be taken against the men upon the conclusion of investigations.
