It wasn't the case of third time lucky for organisers of Future Music Festival Asia.

Their appeal to hold the dance music event in Singapore was rejected on Friday (March 6).

Minister for Home Affairs spokesman said: "The Minister for Home Affairs has carefully considered and turned down the appeal by Livescape Singapore to hold the Future Music Festival Asia (FMFA) 2015 in Singapore. The appeal was received on March 3, 2015 and the outcome conveyed to Livescape Singapore on March 6, 2015."

Police confirmed earlier this week that they rejected the festival organiser's two separate applications for a permit to hold the event.

The applications were received on Jan 12 and Feb 16. They were rejected on Jan 29 and Feb 27 respectively.
