BEFORE YOU BUY A CAR...

Case suggests you:

1 Know your rights. Consumers have the right to seek redress under the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act if misleading or false claims are made by car dealers.

2 Know the procedures, laws and policies involved in a car purchase.

3 Always double-check all documentation in relation to a car purchase carefully.

4 Consider motorcar companies accredited by CaseTrust. These accredited companies practise good trading practices and high standards of service. The accredited companies can be found on the CaseTrust website (www.casetrust.org.sg).
